Invest NI is the regional economic development agency for Northern Ireland. Our role is to grow the local economy by helping new and existing businesses to compete internationally and by attracting new investment to Northern Ireland.

Our International Business Offices help Northern Ireland companies to increase exports, develop international collaborations and seek new investment, bringing greater prosperity to this part of the United Kingdom.

What is unique about your products and services?

Northern Ireland has a pure natural environment which gives rise to some of the finest meats, fish and other food products in the world. Our growers and food developers are passionate about bringing excellence to the table from farm to fork.

In your opinion, what are the top 3 trends in the F&B industry?

The top 3 trends in our local industry are;

Free from & Healthy products including reduced sugar, reduced salt and gluten free.

Frozen is making a comeback versus fresh across a number of categories.

Individual portion pack sizes for convenience and snacking.

What benefits do you get by participating in SIAL Middle East?

Our companies are always seeking new opportunities to expand their business in the Middle East. We’d like to meet potential buyers and distributors who can help us achieve this, particularly for KSA.

What is the next big plan for your business?

We’d like to further introduce our clients into Middle East retailers and food service distributors, particularly in KSA. Northern Ireland has an excellent reputation particularly in Europe for our pure natural products. We’d like to see more Middle East consumers enjoy our products.
