Jeremy began his Chef training at a top London Hotel School rounding off with an apprenticeship in Zürich Switzerland. He worked in a number of 5 Star hotels in UK and Switzerland in various kitchen and front-of-house positions before discovering a love for the Airline Hospitality industry. In 1979 he joined SAS Service Partners as a Sous Chef and remained in the Airline sector ever since.
He was with Swissair in Zürich for 5 years, and headed up PanAm’s catering production operation in London in the 1980's. He went on to work with THF Airport Services (now Alpha) before taking the role of Executive Chef for Royal Brunei Airlines in Brunei into the 90’s supporting the build up of this airline from small regional to a global operation. He started JCConsulting in 1993 and co-developed software and business systems that have been installed in 40+ locations around the world. He also works with colleagues designing, developing and running catering operations in various parts of the world. He has also spent time in the educational Sector in Hospitality and is a fully qualified Assessor for the UK Hospitality Awarding Body and City & Guilds of London.
Today he consults on Airline Catering projects, design and business efficiency.
Jeremy is a regular presenter, Speaker, Host and Panelist at major industry Expos featuring the business and also hosting cooking demonstrations.
He writes regularly for Onboard Hospitality Magazine and also blogs with Air Transport Publications. Philanthropically, he is also on the Board of 2 Swedish medical research companies looking at new vaccines and cancer treatments.
He resides in UK and Malaysia.
