ITCA Abu Dhabi to co-locate SIAL Middle East once again in 2014

CO-LOCATED WITH SIAL MIDDLE EAST, ITCA WILL CONTINUE TO HOST A GLOBAL TRAVEL CATERING EVENT

ITCA-2014-Logo.jpgWe are delighted to announce that the International Travel Catering Association will once again be holding ITCA Abu Dhabi alongside SIAL Middle East in 2014.

"ITCA Abu Dhabi (2013) was once more the special event not only concentrating on the region which of course continues to show tremendous growth but also attracted airlines and caterers from further afield. A full conference programme, social networking events and of course a wonderful array of exhibitors helped enlighten visitors in their search for products, services and knowledge. The Mercury awards were again the highlight and ITCA intends to bring the awards to Abu Dhabi again in 2014. We are of course working on ITCA Abu Dhabi 2014 and we thank our partners SIAL Middle East and our main sponsors Etihad Airways for their support and we look forward to working with them again to make the 2014 show another memorable event " ITCA President, Stephen White.

The Middle East is the world’s leading growth market for both air traffic and cruise passengers. Driven by economic growth, expatriate workers and a young and wealthy population, these well positioned hubs are enabling Middle East carriers to continue to improve their share of long-haul markets.

According to a recent report by the International Air Transport Association, regional airlines recorded a 14.5% year-on-year increase in RPK (revenue passenger kilometres) in January 2012, the highest growth of any region. And further growth is expected with Airbus predicting that Middle East airlines will be buying 1,000 new aircraft between now and 2023.
